Adventures of a decorator – Tyrn Episode

Hail Durin!

Once again, we are going on an adventure! This time we have a boss a little different from the others, because it may spawn in two places!!! That’s right! This boss has 2 respawn spots in two different cities. This ends up causing a lot of uncertainty regarding the creatures’ cooldown, so, be smart! If you managed to kill one of them you have a leg up on the other possible competitors.

The boss we are talking about today is the dreaded Tyrn!! Boss of Wyrm and Elder Wyrm.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any tales about this boss, so let’s go straight to the important information.

You may find the boss in the city of Liberty Bay, or on the continent of Darama – more specifically in Drefia, at Wyrm Hell. The respawn spot in Liberty Bay is easier to access, any LVL60 should be able to check and see if the boss is there. The spot at Wyrm Hell is a little more complicated given the amount of Elder Wyrm

in the cave and also the place where the boss respawns.

Be aware! Tyrn usually turns invisible, so you may not see it. The beautiful Music Bombs

(which make you drunk) are a sign that the boss is there, you just need to attack it with AoE damage and the creature should appear.

So, it is time to start our adventure in search of the beautiful Sun Mirror.

Tyrn

Where to find it?

Let’s start our journey with the easiest respawn spot: Liberty Bay. The path shown below starts at the ship in Liberty Bay.

The path from the ship to the cave’s entrance.

The path inside the cave and ‘till Tyrn’s respawn spot.

The second respawn spot is in Darashia, more specifically in Drefia, in a place called Wyrm Hell. This path is a little longer, so keep aware of your surroundings.

About the creature’s cooldown: it spawns 12 days after being killed, but the wait may go up to 25 days! The same cooldown applies to the two respawn spots.

The battle!

Well, here you will face a very, very simple battle! When the boss spawns, it brings along some Wyrms. Be prepared.

Watch out for details such as having a dwarven ring. If you don’t, you will probably have problems. The boss leaves you VERY drunk, better to avoid it.

If you are a low level but wants to face it anyway, I recommend taking some firewalls or firebomb runes, since the boss does not go on fire. Ps.: its summons do go on fire, be sure to remember that.

The best option for mages is attacking with SD and Avalanches, these are the elements the boss is neutral to.

An important detail to remember during the battle: the boss will recover an average of 6k of HP. This only happens once, so keep on attacking. It will die eventually.

I will be leaving two videos of my battles against the boss in the two respawn spots.

I have never looted the Sun mirror, unfortunately. However, and always counting on the special participation of Alba Troz, here is a screenshot of him dropping the item in the server Gladera.

I hope you enjoyed our adventure! I am waiting for you to tell us about your achievement once you kill the terrible Tyrn and loot the Sun Mirror!

Sun Mirror

This item is widely used in decorations, it provides a little yellow light (5 sqms), and it has an estimated value of 40-70kk, depending on the server. It is an exceptionally rare loot.

Now a little inspiration for on how to use this rare and elegant loot.
