Do you remember the first day you fell in love with decorating? Can you tell us a brief story about ?
I remember that as soon as I started playing, I didn’t know how the rents of the houses worked, how to bid for one for example, but I started to pay attention to the decorations and I was thinking “where are all these items to sell?”.. and then I got mine first house in Port Hope, and I decided to explore this part of Tibia, in terms of decoration.
What is most important to you in decoration ?
I think that each decoration has to have an identity, a special touch that reminds the person who created it. I like to see the different styles of players, and you can tell in the details who created it! For me, it’s not about quantity of items, it’s about authenticity.
What are the most beautiful houses you've ever made or which is your favorite ?
THE DECORATION I LIKED THE MOST WAS WHEN I MANAGED TO CREATE A GARDEN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY HOUSE IN YALAHAR, IT WAS VERY SPECIAL! I DISCOVERED MY POTENTIAL IN EXPLORING THE ITEMS, IN PUTTING TOGETHER SOMETHING VISIBLY BEAUTIFUL, AESTHETICALLY PLEASING... I HAD FUN DOING IT. IT IMPRESSED ME A LOT AND WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL AT THE TIME, AS I CREATED ONE OF THE FIRST BRIDGES UNDER "POOL" (I HAD ONLY SEEN 2 PEOPLE CREATING BRIDGES). THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DECORATION I'VE EVER MADE I BELIEVE IT'S FROM THE "DIA DE LOS MUERTOS" HOLIDAY. IT WAS A VERY SPECIAL AND SYMBOLIC TRIBUTE TO ME AS I HAD RECENTLY LOST MY GRANDFATHER. I CREATED WITH A LOT OF LOVE AND RESEARCHED A LOT ON THE TOPIC. IT WAS SOMETHING I WAS REALLY PROUD OF AND A LOT OF PEOPLE FROM THE SERVER WENT TO VISIT AND TAKE SCREENSHOTS.
What is mandatory for you in a good decoration?
For me there can’t be no lack of plants – any that are available in the city to drag. The “jungle” aesthetic for me is the coolest. I always have “leaves”, flower pots and magic trees in bp.
What inspires you to create your decorations ?
I’m motivated by themes normally. I like to make themed decorations, for national holidays, for example. Or, obviously, decoration contest themes (my favorites). I love being challenged to create something different, new, discover my potential.
What is your favorite item from the Store ?
I love many items from the store, my complete kitchen and alchemist collection definitely has my heart. But if I were to choose just one item, I would say “Light of Change”. I think this torch refers a lot to medieval times, it reminds the essence of RPG.
What usually bothers you when decorating ?
I think all decorators will agree: the apparent inaccessible sqm’s! I get terrified when I can’t fill the entire floor with floors.
When it comes to decoration, what is most difficult for you ?
I believe that once you discover your identity in decoration, you end up making many similar scenarios. It’s hard to let go of some quirks and combinations. Having to test new options for items, colors, sizes, ends up being tiring and frustrating, if you are a perfectionist person, for example. Like me. By the way, I have a pretty cool rule for all the decorations I make: use at least one item I’ve never used before. That way, I force myself to keep up to date!
