How to take SCREENSHOT!

In the past, taking in-game pictures was simple: you just needed to press ‘Print Screen.’ However, that ease is now a thing of the past, and many players still struggle to capture screenshots. This tutorial will teach you, in a practical and efficient way, how to record your journey in Tibia without complications.

First, you’ll need to add a Hotkey to capture the picture!

Go to the settings (Settings), click on Controls to display the sub-options, and select General Hotkeys.
Scroll down the sidebar until you find the line Misc: Take Screenshot and, in the First Key column, assign a key to capture the picture. When you press it, the image will automatically be saved in Tibia’s Screenshots folder.
In the example picture, I used the Hotkey Shift + !.

You can choose between capturing the entire screen, including your backpack, set, and other open windows, or just the game window. See the differences below:

Game Window
Selecting the format:
  • Access the Settings.
  • Go to Misc and select Screenshots.
  • If you want to capture only the game window, check the option “Only Capture Game Window.” To capture the entire screen, leave this option unchecked.
  • By enabling “Keep Backlog of the Screenshots of the Last 5 Seconds,” the game will save multiple automatic captures.
  • To have the game automatically record important moments, enable “Enable Auto Screenshots” and select the events you want to save, such as Level Up, Skills Up, and Achievements.
  • Click “Apply” and then “OK” to save your settings.
The Screenshots Folder

Click on “Open Screenshot Folder” to access the folder where your images will be stored!

Sharing

Sharing your photo on Instagram or WhatsApp can significantly reduce its quality. To maintain the best resolution, prefer sending it via Discord or email. If you’re posting on Instagram, upload it directly from the screenshots gallery or use tools like Canva for better resizing and editing.
Always save in .png format for the best image quality!
