Floor Coverings – Part 1
Hello Tibian friends!
Shall we talk a little about floor covering? It says a lot about your home and your style.
Nowadays we have many flooring options and this is one of the most epic things that has ever happened in the world of Tibian decoration!
Certainly, the decorations rose to a very high level after that event, the houses gained so much elegance. Imagine being able to make the entrance to your room in marble or else a fluffy white carpet in your pink room!? Yessh, it looks incredibly beautiful and cozy.
Today we have a large list of floors and carpets in Tibia (but we still want more!). Some of them can bring the effect of grass, water, rustic wooden floors or even a Persian rug.
With these floors, the houses became more beautiful, gaining a touch of refinement and sophistication. And even without any item or furniture inside the house, only the floor or carpet are enough for the house to be flashy and more full of life.
I can only say that, imo, floors and carpets were the best thing that ever happened to Tibian decoration world and having them in-game now is a dream coming true!

And there are several different types of floors and carpets, each of which blends very well with a particular type of setting.
Let’s talk a little bit about it today and I have to start by saying that all floors are currently being sold on Store, except for two of them: Void Carpet and Rift Carpet.
Void Carpet
- It can be obtained using a Mysterious Remains.
- It can be obtained after finishing the Heart of Destruction Quest.
The Void Carpet in its pink color, imo, is great when you don’t have a lot of money to invest. It usually has a lower value than the others on Market due to its color and prints being a little more difficult to match and leave a cleaner ambiance, but even so, with the right items, it can be very interesting!
Rift Carpet

- It can be obtained using a Mysterious Remains.
The Rift Carpet is also printed, but in a single color, which ends up making the ambiance darker and with a uniform color. He’s great for highlighting decorative items and light sources. This is undoubtedly my favourite carpet. Even without fixing it to the floor, it’s possible to use it to perform tricks on decorations. There’s alot to talk about ways to use this carpet, so any day I’ll make a special post about it! I promise 😀
Floors and Carpets from the Store

Marble floors are sooo elegant. They match almost all colors, their color is clear, highlighting and absorbing the colors of the light sources and imo, golden items helps to enhance and enrich even more the ambiance next to the marble. Widely used for entrance halls and treasure rooms.

Azure, the name says it all! An all blue carpet with some texture. It’s very interesting to use him in a ambiance with ice themes or even gardens, they’re often used to create lakes and rivers. Its blue color helps to make a water-effect and many people use it for this purpose, but it can be also used as a normal blue floor in ambiances such as kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms.

This carpet is undoubtedly very popular with Tibians, you can see it quite often in some homes. It’s white and cuddly, making any room or bedroom super cozy and warm. Because of its color, it helps to spread the color of your light source (he pulls the colors to him), in addition, it matches all other colors because he’s neutral. It looks good with almost everything, it is great for the purposes of delicate rooms or icy rooms, as it can imitate snow and it also looks beautiful with Christmas decorations!

The Emerald Carpet is an absolutely green carpet. It can be used as a regular rug in your living room and thanks to its extravagant color, it is also used in fancy creations in which people imitate gardens and lawns. You can make a soccer field with it, have you ever thought how cool it would be? It is also very good for giving background color in the corners with green items. I also particularly like to use it in Christmas decorations because it has a good Christmas effect along with red items/carpets.

Bamboo mats are great to give that beachy touch to your home. With a great finish, it can be used in many ways, it looks amazing from kitchens to treasure rooms. When mixed with gold, it gains a lot of sophistication! It’s very well placed under counters, but it’s important to remember that there also several ways to make it look super bad! A lot of attention when planning bamboo mats in your room, cuz not everything looks so good in it.. I used bamboo mats on a balcony once and it didn’t gave me the effect I expected, so, take care!

Wooden Planks are wonderful. We can easily have a rustic house and if used in conjunction with wooden forniture, it looks perfect. In the garden, combined with flowers and plants it is also sensational. I used it to bridge my lakes, the final result was perfect. It is widely used in dining rooms and bedrooms.
It looks good in the whole house, that’s the truth!! It’s a key piece to change the look of your home, when it’s in its pile shape, it can also be used to create stairs-effect in gardens.

This furry rug is the little darling of homes. With it, it’s possible to create more delicate rustic ambiances, besides being beautiful in small bedrooms and living rooms. He’s like the “White Fur Carpet”, already mentioned above. He is very used to make the ambiances look cozy and warm. Placing it next to a fireplace looks perfect! Great to match with almost anything, it also makes a great earth effect when used in gardens. It is certainly a carpet you won’t regret buying!

This wheat-patterned carpet.. I need to be honest about it: I will not be the person who will encourage anyone to buy it (except in specific cases). In my opinion, it’s very difficult to combine with everything. Its finish did not have the effect I expected, due to its striking divisions, however, it comes in very useful to give a yellow background in corners, under beds, balconies or treasure rooms. Ideal for party decorations and colorful events.
I confess that I’m still testing combinations with it. When I find ways to exalt his potential, I surely will show you!
