Christmas Token – NPC Ruprecht [EN]
December is here, people!
It’s time to show Santa how good you’ve been this year!
But just a mere gift from Santa Claus is not always enough, is it? – often we only get candy… That’s why there’s the dear NPC Ruprecht!
Starting from December the 20th, invasions will happen in all cities of Tibia: they are the Grynch Clan Goblins invasions! You might loot some items by killing these creatures, including Christmas Present Bags (which are quite heavy, by the way). So, enjoy and try to participate as many times as you can so you’ll get a lot of present bags. Invasions lest until December the 27th.
Christmas Present Bags can be traded for Christmas Tokens with the NPC Ruprecht.
Talk to him about Christmas Present Bag and then say Yes and he will trade all the present bags that are inside your backpack.
It is located in the southwest part of the island of Vega, located northwest of Carlin:

Keep in mind that, if your server managed to succeed in the Lightbearer event (in November), there is the possibility that your characters have already won 50 Christmas Tokens each.
Christmas Tokens are essential for the exchange of cute items with Ruprecht. Such items range from 1 to 500 Christmas Tokens, take a look:
Ruprecht: A merry christmas and a ‘Ho!Ho!Ho!’ to you, ‘Player’! Anything I can help you with?
Player: help
Ruprecht: I am one of Santa’s helpers. Not one of the little ones, of course!! I tend the reindeer, look after his sleigh and collect the presents that are stolen by the goblins. …
Ruprecht: If you give me presents, I trade you a token for each one. Turn in your collected tokens for nice prizes.
Player: christmas tokens
Ruprecht: If you have any tokens you’d like to turn in, just tell me to turn in the tokens. …
Ruprecht: For 1 token you will get a gingerbread man or christmas cookie tray. For 10 tokens I will give you a recipe so you can make your own gingerbread men in the christmas bakery. …
Ruprecht: For 25 tokens I will give you a jewel box, while you can trade 50 tokens for a hat, just like the one Santa has. …
Ruprecht: 75 tokens are enough for a fluffy santa backpack or a snowflake tapestry, and for 100 tokens you will get a santa doll. I trade 150 tokens for a snowman doll or a snow globe. …
Ruprecht: 250 tokens are enough for a frazzlemaw santa, a leaf golem santa, a maxxen santa, a ferumbras’ teddy santa, an orclops santa, a santa music box, a santa fox, a nightmare beast santa …
Ruprecht: a santa leech, a raccoon santa and finally 500 tokens for a santa teddy.
Frequently asked questions
I missed the event at the end of the year, what do I do now?
Important: Ruprecht is in Tibia all year round, so there is no problem if, for example, you want to exchange an item at a different time of the year, like in March or in September. You just have to have enough Christmas Tokens to trade for the Christmas items mentioned above.
How do I trade tokens for items?
When talking to NPC Ruprecht, have the amount of Christmas Tokens requested for the exchange then say turn in and choose the item!
Can I trade tokens more than once?
Yes, you can! You just have to bring the necessary amount of Christmas Tokens for all the items you want.
